INVOLVING PATIENT ORGANIZATIONS IN HEALTH POLICY DECISION-MAKING

Professional conference on the occasion of the Czech presidency of the Council of the EU

A full day hybrid conference among EU patient organizations, government representatives, leading experts and stakeholders exploring the role of patient organizations in health policy decision-making, presenting best practice examples, and discussing the future role of patient organizations.

The conference took place under the auspices of the Government of the Czech Republic during the week of Informal Meeting of EU Health Ministers (EPSCO) in Prague. 

The conference was organized by Czech National Association of Patient Organizations (NAPO) in cooperation with Patient Access Partnership (PACT) and European Patients’ Forum (EPF). The moderator was dr. Karen Facey, HTA expert and Senior Visiting Fellow, University of Edinburgh.
